Employers Beware

When hiring a new employee, there are a few things that are necessary for employers to comply with.
A fair work information statement must be given to every new employee on starting work with you. There are high fines up to $54,000 and penalties for not supplying this to each new employee.
The TFN Declaration and Super Choice forms are needed to have filled in by the employee BEFORE you can pay them.
You must also have a written agreement stating days and hours, annual leave, public holidays, start and finish times for work. There can also be a $54,000 fine for breach of this.
